Supporting charities
Winchester and District Young Carers is a charity that helps young children between the ages of 8 and 17 who care for a parent or sibling with a long-term illness or disability. Their mission is to improve the lives of these children and young people by offering safe quality support to them and their family.
Through providing a weekly exploration program individuals are empowered with the skills and confidence to manage the challenges faced by being a young carer.

Their activities program offers time out to relax, have fun and meet others who are in a similar situation to themselves.
We have supported the charity financially in the redesign of a new website to help in raising awareness of their services. Chris is a regular volunteer assisting with these weekly programs, and he advises the Committee offering his advice and experience in their fundraising activity.
